The book that I read for the month of January is called Breaking Dawn by Stephanie Meyer. I chose to read this book because I read the other three from the Twilight Sage and I enjoyed them very much. At first, when the Twilight books got really popular, I didn’t really see what everyone was so excited about. They were books about vampires. It didn’t really appeal to me at first. In September, when I read Twilight for the first time, it completely changed how I felt about it. I always hear people say, “Don’t judge a book by its cover.” I judged a book by its cover, but I decided to give it a chance, and I was proved wrong. I love the books. The story was adorable. I made me laugh and it made me ALMOST cry. I can’t say that I connected or related to the book at all but it kept me reading. I wanted to know what happened next. I read a couple of chapters every night but I seemed to always go farther and read more than what my goal was. It was simply entertaining for me to read and it was really easy to read too.
I would recommend this book to anyone that loves a good romance novel because it shows the love that Bella and Edward have for each other. It shows what love can do, how far someone would go for love, and what people would do just for love.
I would also recommend this book to anyone that loves fiction because in the book, vampires, werewolves, and shape-shifters exist. In real life of course, they do not. The myths that they talk about are also kind of interesting.

January Book Report: Breaking Dawn
The book that I read for my book report is called Breaking Dawn by Stephanie Meyer. It is actually the fourth and the last book of the Twilight Sage. The book comes from two different perspectives. It is broken up into three separate parts where it comes from Bella’s point of view to the second part that comes from Jacob’s point of view and for the third part, it goes back to Bella again. I enjoyed reading through Jacob’s thoughts because they were quite humorous and made me laugh.
The book starts where Alice (Edwards sister and Bella’s almost sister -in-law) starts planning their wedding. The wedding day comes and it’s dazzling. Alice does a great job with the decorations and the invites. She even invites the wolves from La Push to come. After the wedding, Edward takes Bella to a private island called Isle Esme which is off the coast of Brazil for their honeymoon. The island was a gift from Carlisle to Esme and she let them stay there for the special occasion. They stay for a few weeks and Bella realizes that she isn’t feeling well. She thinks about it for a while and sees that her symptoms are similar to the early stages of pregnancy. She talks to Edward about it and then they soon receive a phone call from Alice. She must’ve seen it in a vision because that was the reason why she called. Bella tells Carlisle everything and he confirms it. She also notices that the baby is growing at a very fast pace, so they immediately board a plane and fly back to Forks, Washington. Carlisle and Edward think that it is very risky to let Bella go through with having the baby because it could kill her. Bella feels like she has some sort of a connection with the baby so she objects to an abortion and she gets Rosalie on her side to support her with the decision also.
The next part of the book comes from Jacob’s point of view. The Quileute pack from La Push find out that Bella is pregnant and is carrying something that may be a great danger inside of her. The pack plans to get rid of the baby, which means that they would have to kill Bella along with it. Jacob has known Bella for a very long time and he has feelings for her. Of course, he protests against their plans so he leaves the pack and goes off on his own. Seth Clearwater follows Jacob because he also disagrees with what the other wolves are planning. Then, Leah Clearwater joins Jacob’s pack also because she wants to look after her younger brother, Seth. Jacob’s pack team up with the Cullen family to protect Bella because they decide to go through with the pregnancy since Bella refuses an abortion. They soon find out that when Bella drinks blood, she can actually keep it down unlike everything that she had eaten of drank. When she drinks blood, she feels and looks better. She even likes the taste of the blood even though she is still human. She soon gives birth to a baby, Reneesme, but she loses a lot of blood and is on the verge of dying. Edward injects vampire venom into her heart. She goes through a lot of pain as she has once experienced for a little bit in the first book, Twilight. They moment that Jacob lays his eyes on Reneesme, he “imprints,” which is how wolves find their true love or soul mate. He spends a lot of time with her and protects her.
The last section of the book comes from Bella’s perspective. She goes through all of the pain from the vampire venom and when it finally goes away. She feels better than ever. Her eyesight is so much better than it used to be. She discovers that she isn’t how everyone expected her to be. She knew how to control herself. She seemed as if she had been a vampire for years instead of being a newborn. She loves her new transformation. At first, she isn’t trusted to be alone with her daughter but she amazes everyone with her will-power and self control. She takes Reneesme and Jacob on her first when Irina, one of the other vampires a close friend of Carlisle’s sees Reneesme and automatically thinks that they have turned a child into a vampire. Vampire children are uncontrollable when created, so the Volturi (the most powerful vampire coven that has lived for over three thousand years and are considered royalty and act as police) have made it a law that it is illegal to create vampire children. She tells on the Cullens to Volturi because she is still avenging the death of Laurent. (This happened in New Moon, the second book when Jacob and the other wolves from the pack attack and kill Laurent in his attempt to kill Bella in the meadow.) The Cullens find out thanks to Alice and her gift of seeing the future and they try to survive by getting all of their vampire friends to be witnesses to prove that Reneesme isn’t a danger or threat and isn’t a vampire child. The Cullens race against time. They travel around the world in order to have a chance to survive what is coming at them. It’s a life or death situation, and they surely don’t want to die. For those who have not read the book yet, you need to read to find out what happens!
